I recently took a refresher diving course and when I was at the pool, we had to clear our masks plus also take it off and clear it .  When I asked the dive instructor about chlorine in the water, he said that they were using your system.  It was a pleasure not to have my eyes burning (I would have if there was chlorinated water). "In a nutshell, I bought a house with a pool, and had a spa installed on the patio.  I hated the idea of chlorine. I tried Baquacil. Baquacil ended up being more costly and high-maintenance than chlorine -- then I found out the the Baquacil chemicals were also carcinogenic.  I hesitated dealing with them and if I sent money and it was a scam, I would have no recourse.  Finally, after examining all of the options I could find about how to keep my pool and spa in order, it seemed as though there was only one avenue left -- I really had to trust AquaSmarter and take the plunge. Dealing with AquaSmarter was a great experience. I first shipment had some damage in transit, and they replaced the damaged parts (I sent photos of the shipment to show the condition it arrived in to verify the damage).  Following very carefully the specific directions from AquaSmarter about how to use their products (how to start using their products initially, what to do after a heavy rain adds water to your pool, etc.) I found that I could very significantly reduce my chlorine use, lose the chlorine smell, the dried out hair, the burning eyes, etc. The water smelled great, tasted great, and felt wonderful to the skin. My wife loved the feel of the water. Once we had the pool "ionized," it took on a beautiful light blue color. In summary, the first year we used AquaSmarter products we gained an almost maintenance-free pool. Since I was taking care of the pool, that was a big point for me. We also reduced our chemicals bill enough to not only pay for the AquaSmarter, but actually saved some money above and beyond the cost of the AquaSmarter. The lowered maintenance factor applied to the spa as well as the pool. I checked the chems regularly, and kept an eye on both, but they became much more stable and predictable -- as well as more enjoyable -- once I started using AquaSmarter. Hi to the team at AquaSmarter from North Queensland, New Zealand ,   My AquaSmarter balls arrived almost a fortnight ago and the pool is now starting to turn to a clear deep blue just like you said it would.  Considering we have just been through one of the worst cyclones to hit the east coast of Australia the AquaSmarter balls have handled all the extra rain water just fine.  Living in the tropics, our property is home to many frogs who often mistake the pool for a pond. Birds also take dips in the pool and our pets occasionally drink the water. Hello AquaSmarter,  I just visited your website after reading an article about your system and must say that I am impressed. We are currently evaluating several no chlorine pool disinfection systems for a customer of ours and would like to include yours among the options. Would you please be so kind to send us your pricing sheet on the different systems you provide?  Most likely we will be setting up a closed water re-circulation system which will also supply the potable water for this large vacation home at the beach. Water sources will be collected rain water and municipal water. The water will be stored in a large storage tank or cistern and then ran through a sediment filtering system for further non chemical disinfection treatment. Your system might be a very cost effective alternative to larger commercial systems. I stayed at Hotel Club Del Mar.  I first noticed that my eyes didn't burn like I'm a custom too in my pool and other hotel pools then my skin was not dried and achy after being in the pool for hours playing volleyball. The AquaSmarter capsules are an amazing product. It certainly exceeded our expectations. We have being using this capsules over the last seven months and results are wonderful. Before, we had to use several strong chemicals in order to keep away the black algae. Regular sweeping of the pool wall was never enough.   We have a very clean swimming pool now. The most remarkable result could be observed in the vegetation around the facility, since it was not growing healthily and strongly. It was obvious that the plants were suffering with the use of chemicals in the water. "Without a doubt, the statistics you allude to on your web site are, as far as I know, accurate. The cancer risk among people using chlorinated water is 93% higher than those whose water does not contain chlorine, and chlorine has now been linked to miscarriages and heart disease as well.   Last month, in testimony to this, I happened to submerge myself in our chlorinated pool for literally 3-seconds. Not fully realizing the risks, I thought it would be fun to prove that I was “macho" since the water temperature was still a bit chilly. A couple of days later, to my shock and amazement, upon viewing my live blood under dark-field microscopy, it was obvious that my normally healthy blood cells had suffered conspicuous free-radical damage from that one incidental exposure to Chlorine. I am anxious to get started using the AquaSmarter program with our spa.  We bought our house just over a year ago and it came with a great Coleman spa.  My family has really enjoyed using it and we are now running out of the chemicals that the previous owner left for us for the spa.  With three children, all 5 yrs and younger I wanted a system I could feel confident about using that would help keep them from the traditional level of chemicals used in most home spas.  Unfortunately with summer in full swing, our dream of a chemically free spa will have to wait.  My husband is now between jobs and we are having a hard time making ends meat.  So we'll have to wait until we can get finances back in order.  I do plan on letting you know what we think of the program once we have had a chance to buy it and use it.  I look forward to affording the spa program and getting started.  Blessings,  Rolinda  Wife, Mother, Friend

Rolinda's (2007 Winner) Update...

Tue 4/29/2008 12:55 AM:  Thanks for the e-mail.  We're loving the system.  It's nearing the end of it's life expectancy and we'll need another one soon.  So, we've been saving as we can.  I have enclosed pictures of our Jacuzzi during the first week of using it last year.  We are so appreciative to have been on the receiving end of your company's generosity.  I must note that the proof doesn't come from the transformation in the first week (that can be jointly attributed to the closely watched high levels of chlorine), but the look of the water after 2 or 3 months of continuous use of the AquaSmarter system.  Unfortunately I don't have a picture to show you of that, but we were just amazed!

Looking forward to our second year with the AquaSmarter system.  We'll be placing our order in the next month or so as finances allow.  We have sang the raises of AquaSmarter to many friends and family, and many have seen the quality of our water.  Maybe some day that will turn into orders for you.  One family at a time, right?  Blessings,  Rolinda German

Thu 7/10/2008 10:24 AM:  Dear AquaSmarter,  I want to express my sincerest gratitude for the generosity that your company has shown my family.  First, last year when were the recipients of a free AquaSmarter capsule for our outdoor home spa.  And now again with the change made to provide us with a free capsule for life.  As I have mentioned to your staff before, we have been spreading the word about AquaSmarter to everyone we know.  It's a wonderful product, and the generosity your company shows the world is simply outstanding.  Thank you.

I am very interested in the research you've been doing with raw milk and the AquaSmarter system.  We as a family only drink raw milk, both goat and cow.  Are you using the Golden Egg system to eliminate the foreign pathogens and how does it affect the beneficial bacteria?  While we currently enjoy refrigerated raw milk for up to 10 days without any processing, it would be great to be able to eliminate the bad bacteria while preserving what makes raw milk so beneficial.  Any specific information you can provide would be great.

The North Family, Georgia

My name is Melanie North. I have four kids and a wonderful husband, Gregg, who works very hard to provide for our family. We have four children: two girls and two boys. Micah is 7, Abby is 5 1/2, Logan is 3 1/2 and Caleb is 2. Our daughter Abby was diagnosed with Celiac Disease almost four years ago now. While it's a very treatable condition, it took 13 doctors and 3 hospitals to finally figure out what was gong on with her so she was literally dying in our arms before it was discovered. That left us in $50K of medical debt and we had to sell our house and move in with my husband's parents. But in the end, we were just happy to have our daughter alive and healthy again!

After we had lived with my in-laws for a year and a half, Gregg was offered a job more than 2000 miles away in Georgia. The opportunity was too good to pass up but this meant that we had to make some serious decisions about living arrangements. After a long hunt and some cramped living quarters, our family of six finally lucked out and found a house in foreclosure that was perfect for us. While money is tight and the house is in need of a lot of work, it is so good to have a home again! My children agree!

Like most children, my kids love to swim! Especially Abby! We call her our little fish because she's always been drawn to water, even as a baby! We have an above ground pool but have yet to get it cleaned and ready for the kids to swim in it because along with Celiac Disease (which now 3 of my 4 children have been diagnosed with), two of my kids also have asthma. Because of this, we are a mostly chemical free household. After having researched chemical free alternatives for our pool, we decided that a smaller baby pool that we could let them wade in was a more affordable option for now. The chemical free filters and systems that are available are just not affordable for us. But recently, a friend of mine who has a AquaSmarter system directed me to your website and said, "Send in your story! It's worth a shot!" So here I am and well... that's the North family in a nutshell!  In any case, I hope to be able to have one of your systems in the future and when it is a possibility for us, I'll definitely let you know how we like it.
